Spaghetti Sauce For Homemade Chicken Parmesan
OMG i love this simple yet delicious recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce so i want to share it with you guys and if you decide to try it out let me know your take and do and dont’s on what you did or didn’t do differently so lets get right to it…..
I used four whole tomatoes and one can of diced tomatoes with basil oregano and garlic and two cans of plain diced tomatoes. I peeled and cubed my whole tomatoes and diced one whole white onion. I also used dried oregano dried basil Italian seasoning garlic powder and parsley flakes. Extra virgin olive oil and minced garlic and a pinch of sugar to make this delicious spaghetti sauce.
4 whole tomatoes
1 white onion
1 can of diced tomatoes with basil oregano and garlic
2 cans of plain diced tomatoes
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of oregano
1 tbsp of Italian seasoning
1 tbsp of basil
1 tbsp of parsley flakes
2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp of minced garlic
a pinch of sugar
salt and pepper to your taste liking
optional fresh parsley and oregano to top
STEP BY STEP ORDER
Oil your skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic powder and cook for 3 mins. Add in minced garlic and cook for 1 min. Add in tomatoes and diced tomatoes to your skillet and add all your spices then pinch in your sugar. Bring to a boil and reduce and simmer for 1 hour. Stir occasionally until sauce is thickened and add in salt and pepper to your liking and cook for another 30 mins on low heat. You can serve over pasta, add in meat, however you like to use your sauce. You can also store and use another time. Hope your enjoy this recipe.
